INDEPENDENT  IMPARTIAL  SUCCESSFUL

In early 2009 NFS mediation was awarded the ‘validation’ as ‘best practice model’ by Housemark.

HouseMark is a membership-based organisation helping the social housing sector to improve performance and achieve value for money. It is an organisation run as a joint venture between the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and the National Housing Federation (NHF), both of which are not-for-profit organisations and dedicated to improving housing standards. They work closely with over 800 housing providers that include Local Authorities and Housing Associations and other key organisations to improve service delivery, sharing knowledge and providing meaningful performance comparisons.

They are the social housing sector’s leading provider of performance improvement services. Committed to working for, and with, the sector to improve performance, value for money and efficiency.

Stuart Sillett, CEO of NFS Mediation on hearing of the validation “Having our Assessment model validated shows how committed NFS Mediation is to the Social Housing Market Sector. Our Assessment Service model is leading the way in resolving and identifying appropriate responses to anti social behaviour with neighbours. Our continued success of over 90% successes on all completed cases with Southampton City Council shows how benefits can be tangibly seen by local authorities and savings made. We are in discussion with many local housing providers as we look to expand this nationally”.
